    Ugh

    Thursday, December 10, 2009
I just knew this morning when I woke up that this was going to be one of those days. I haven't actually had one without some provocation, but I actually had a migraine day today. I was not impressed. I was starting to think that I had mastered the art of dying from a migraine, and that all the occupational therapy I've been undergoing was actually HELPING me not have them, except for the intense massage therapy I sometimes have.

So all day I've felt like shit, had to run around like an idiot, and I'm cranky. Moreover, both my arms hurt because of the needles. God damn, I can't even raise my arms! OH WELL! that’s the price of protection I suppose. Woe is me.

So today I got my H1N1 vaccine. I also got my tetanus shot but that’s not as important as I don't happen upon rusty nails much in my line of work. Maybe a rusty staple?

Anyway, I got it. It hurt, but it is worth it.

I guess in a way, I'm doing it for all the people I come into contact with, but most importantly, the ones that are more susceptible to getting the H1N1 and dying from it.

So I mainly got it because my Godson and his mom spend a lot of time with Adam and I, and well, I couldn't live knowing I passed something deadly onto him, god forbid it actually killed him. Its the responsible decision I have to make for the health and safety of those I love deeply.

My arm effin' hurts though. But he's worth it.
