Scamming and the internet

I want you all to check this out.
I've always been tribetatus about the internet and what you can buy/sell on it since I discovered the internet many moons ago, and this hasnt been an issue for myself, but have now stumbled upon this situation as this pertains to a young man I grew up with, considered his sister my sister, and in turn...he means a great deal to me.
Scum who scam our soldiers.
Dan is a naive young man, always has been since he was knee high to a grass hopper. His sister and I once convinced him whilst I was living in Ontario (a year away from home), that I had had a child, a little girl, and that my mother and father were raising her. DON'T ask why we did this, we just liked to torment him, he was also the biggest flirt on the planet, and this was my way of getting under his skin, seriously evil teenager I was...
Anyway, I love this young man and would never wish this type of situation on ANYONE, especially him. This is absolutely abhorrent, abusive, and sad.
He spent seven months in Afghanistan. Little Daniel, the boy who cried when we use to lock him out of the tree house, spent seven months, in the hot, dirty death ridden desert, and what does he come home to? a police report and a months pay out the window. That's like the biggest fuck you I've ever heard of in my life.
Anyway, I just want you all to be cautious and careful when doing transactions over the Internet through unstable companies such as eBay.
If it isn't from an implied legible company, such as AMAZON.CA (Not their sister affiliates located on the website), or from something like Chapters, etc. Think it over and over AND OVER.
Never buy something from auto trader without SEEING IT FIRST.

And be appreciative of your soldiers Canada. I don't like this war or the impulse behind it anymore than you do, but people I love risk their hide every day over there, and I commend them for it.
